Why choose our 3Feet® ECO ski insoles?

Why choose our 3Feet® ECO ski insoles?

Do your feet hurt in your ski boots when you're cold? It doesn't have to be that way. At Sidas, foot comfort is something we've been working on for nearly 50 years. We're convinced that our insoles can help you put an end to this pain.

Are Sidas eco-responsible insoles as good as conventional ski insoles?

It's a legitimate question: does choosing eco-friendly insoles mean sacrificing the level of performance of our products? The answer is obviously ‘No’! Our eco-friendly insoles for winter sports make no compromises on comfort or technical features. Our 3Feet® Eco Winter & 3Feet® Eco Warm ski insoles take care of your feet, but also of the planet.

What are the concrete elements that make our ski insoles safe from greenwashing? :

A carbon footprint reduced to 1.9 kg of CO2 for the Sidas 3Feet® Eco Warm insole, and to 1.75 kg of CO2 for the Sidas 3Feet® Eco Winter insole.

Made from recycled polyester and Evamic Insulated foam, also recycled, to maximise thermal insulation thanks to environmentally-friendly products.

For every anti-cold insole purchased, one euro is donated to the Sidas World Foundation. This supports the regeneration of ecosystems.

What are the best insoles for skiing?

In view of their benefits for your feet and the planet, the Sidas 3Feet® Eco Warm & Sidas 3Feet® Eco Winter insolesseem to us to be the best choice for skiers who want to keep their ski boots warm while helping to preserve the environment.

The arguments that make our insoles a ‘must have’ for your winter sports days ? :

A design specifically adapted to medium arches, i.e. ‘standard’ feet, using 3Feet technology. Adapting the construction of the sole to the three types of arch provides an even more personalised comfort solution.

Integration of an EVA shell to optimise body alignment and maximise stability and support.

A recycled polyester felt lining for impeccable thermal insulation.

A composition incorporating an innovative insulating foam known as Evamic. This insulating foam is the main difference between the Sidas Sidas 3Feet® Eco Warm insole and the Sidas Sidas 3Feet® Eco Winter insole, since the latter includes Evamic Insulated foam, for even more warmth and protection against the cold. As a result, the Sidas ‘3Feet Eco Warm Mid’ is more versatile and multi-seasonal, while the Sidas ‘3Feet Eco Winter Mid’ is designed for the coldest skiers and the roughest winters.

‘Adapting the sole construction to the three types of arch allows us to provide an even more personalised comfort solution.’

Why choose ski insoles adapted to your arch?

Every foot is unique. However, there are similarities that allow us to classify them into three categories, depending on the shape of your arch.

Our patented 3Feet technology is based on this division, and aims to deliver an even more personalised comfort solution, thanks to a specific insole construction for each type of arch.

Our 3Feet insoles therefore come in three arch heights:

  • LOW' insoles for feet with a low arch, known as “flat feet”.
  • MID' insoles for feet with a medium arch, known as “standard feet”.
  • HIGH' insoles for feet with high arches, known as “hollow feet”.

Following this logic, our technical insoles for Sidas 3Feet® Eco Warm & Sidas 3Feet® Eco Winter ski boots are perfectly suited to ‘medium feet’.

Having an insole adapted to the arch of your foot provides even more stability and support, and therefore maximises body alignment!

Our Sidas 3Feet® Eco Warm & Sidas 3Feet® Eco Winter insoles are initially designed for gliding on snow, but they can also be inserted into your hiking boots, so that your feet regain the comfort they enjoy in your ski boots.
